We provide tuition assistance to Catholic school students from pre-school through high school in the counties of Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Clinton and Somerset - all within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown. Our Catholic schools provide strong academic & community values that are grounded in faith, and challenge students to achieve their God-given potential. Our schools educate the mind, heart, body and soul of each student as they journey through their formative years.

We extend a warm welcome to our business friends who believe in the value of a Catholic education by choosing to earn PA Educational Improvement Tax Credits.

As a non-profit 501(c)(3), we also welcome charitable gifts from individuals and families who are interested in supporting their favorite school or schools within the Diocese.

Many Small Businesses Now Eligible for EITC Credits

The EITC program has been expanded to allow S Corporation shareholders, or partners in a general or limited partnership, to pass through EITC tax credits to their Personal Income Tax. According to EITC guidelines, a pass through EITC can be applied to all classes of income earned by the owners.

As a result, many more small businesses are able to support their favorite Catholic school(s) at little or not cost to the business. With $75 million in EITC credits available on a first-come basis, it is important that business owners inform their accountants of their interest in earning the credits before they are all accounted for each year.
